I wonder - Preavermy - 04-22-2024 Hello, Can a high school student in 11th and 12th grade receive automatic credit acceptance from institutions like Excelsior if they complete all college general education requirements at Sophia for instance? Is it possible for this student to start in 9th grade? Many Thanks, RE: I wonder - Kab - 04-23-2024 Usually from universities, and more in distance, ask for a minimum age. Also most require High school diploma at least. You should explain the case better with age and peculiarities. You can make dual enrollment like any other student. Start to accumulate credits in the late courses of high school. When you finish the high school then you can apply. But if the question is can a 16 years old ignore finishing the high school and go to one University directly as a degree seeking the answer is: no, as far as I know. RE: I wonder - bjcheung77 - 04-23-2024 @Preavermy, Welcome to the board, good initial post with a couple of questions... I would advise and recommend the same thing, it's best to provide more information asked for within the addendum and template here: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-New-to-DegreeForum-How-this-Area-works Side Note: And to briefly answer your question, Yes! and Yes! Take your time reading through some of the forum posts, threads, WIKI for more info, there are many posts of mine detailing how to start, dual enrollment, CLEP/MS, ACE/NCCRS credits, challenge exams, etc. Search for them... |
