Degree Planning - Help with Choosing UL POS classes - Marlin9276 - 05-18-2024 Hi everyone, I emailed my academic advisor to get access to view my updated degree audit/progress report. I also have been sent the YourPace catalog and I'm looking at my updated degree audit and realize that the POS 301 European Gov and EU, POS 332 Constitutional Law, POS 371 International Relations and Modern Conflicts and POS 493 Political Science Capstone don't "double-dip" for the requirement of 'Complete 18 credit hours of upper level (300-400 level) Political Science Courses'. I have completed 9/18 credit hours of upper level courses (POS 335, 370, 343), which means I still need to complete three upper level political science courses. I am planning on completing POS 377 Modern China and POS 439 Vietnam Wars. That leaves me with one more upper level class to complete. To illustrate better, here are all the POS classes listed in the YourPace Catalog and all the bolded ones are the classes I either have taken or am currently taking and then all the italicized ones are the classes I plan on taking.
My questions are: since I've already taken POS 370 Arab-Israeli Conflict, can I still take POS 370 Native American History? And are there any other upper level POS classes I can take, or is this just all of them? I'm going to email my academic advisor about this as well, but I wanted to come here first for help. Thanks.
