Ouch. RE: Cost of BOG processing - jg_nuy - 07-14-2024 https://catalog.pierpont.edu/preview_program.php?catoid=11&poid=1152 Board of Governors (A.A.S.) Program Fee: West Virginia residents with no Pierpont coursework will be assessed a $150 fee. Students who have completed at least one Pierpont course will NOT be assessed this fee. Non-West Virginia residents with no Pierpont coursework will be assessed a $350 fee. Students who have completed at least one Pierpont coursework will pay traditional “in-state” or “out-of-state” (or “metro”) tuition and fees and will not be charged the separate Board Of Governors program fee. RE: Cost of BOG processing - bjcheung77 - 07-14-2024 Yes, having said that, I wonder if 1 credit would be cheaper, but I think it's about the same price... It's gone from "free - cost of transcripts", to $130, and now to $350. It's still the cheapest, easiest, fastest, and best ROI/Value associates you can get, people use it as a stepping stone, or it's required for UMPI BAS, if you're getting the extra 40+ technical credits. For most people, If it's a deal for you, go for it, if it's not something you're looking at, skip it... RE: Cost of BOG processing - jg_nuy - 07-14-2024 1 credit is $569 for non-residents + the $130 new student fee for 2024-25 + $200 tech fee, so the new BOG fee is still more affordable by more than half. https://www.pierpont.edu/cost-aid/tuition/ RE: Cost of BOG processing - colonelcamp - 07-15-2024 I guess I lucked out. I will graduate on August 2nd and only paid the 130 fee. Even if it were 5 times that cost, it would still be worth it to me. I am currently taking the ASU 1 credit course and I want to make sure they still accept just 1 RA credit.
