South College DBA Journey Completed - maxxor6868 - 09-05-2024

Hello! I recently completed my DBA at south College and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone here. Without this amazing forum, I would not have earned my degrees so quickly. My post-history has more but I have achieved my grandfather's dream of completing my education. I earn my AA from my local community college, my BACS from TESU, my MBA from WGU, and my DBA from South College. It was a tough road but I am so happy to be done. I have been working in my chosen career for several years now and between tuition reimbursement, degree hacking, and competency-based education I have paid for all my tuition. I have no idea if I could replicate this again in such a short time frame but if I could do it anyone can do it. Again thank you to everyone on this forum for all the wisdom and support I have gotten over the years. Future thinking Besides some certs like the PMP or maybe some independent design courses (always wanted to learn how to sketch cars in detail) I am done with my education. My goal with this is to build my resume not now but for a few years down the road in my career when I wanted to have to build up my name for mgmt.

Congratulations to getting this dream completed! The main thing is, you're not in debt going for the education you're needing or wanting... Great job!

Thank you! This forum has given me the opportunity to focus on buying a home without the student debt. It is a huge blessing I won't waste.

If I can get my pmp, I want to work my way up in my org and make as much money as possible. Now that I am done with school I also want to consider putting more time towards my startup idea. I am also looking into buying a home in the near future. These are big plans in the short term. Teaching on the side for fun maybe as well.
