Sending Onlinedegree.com transcript to University of the People - Avidreader - 11-08-2024
Given I had signed up for this university taking advantage of the discounted 15 USD sign up, I had already recently completed 10 OD courses and it doesn't hurt to send the transcript now that University of the People now accepts NCCRS credit.
Once you finish all of the onlinedegree courses you want, you just fill out the form (I used the free option and felt it was very streamlined and easy to use). You write the university address and the final 4 digits of the Social Security number for ID purposes and click send. An automated email arrives to your mailbox immediately they will process the transcript within 2 weeks. I glt an email precisely on the 14th day requesting the transcript request be made again and send a reply to the automated email with a scan of a valid ID.
Their response was very quick and I got this email today stating the transcript will arrive to the university in 1-2 weeks. I am very curious to know what their transfer equivalent will be. Most likely most of them will come in as electives.

I just applied for UoP since they just got regional Accreditation.
Trying to get in and out quick before they will VERY LIKELY/PROBABLY raise their prices
The Regionally Accredited MBA and MSIT would look nice paired up with my UMPI BABA and TESU BACS
What did UoP end up taking for OnlineDegree.com?

They increased prices not that long ago. Once you are in, price is locked (at least for bachelors it is so).

I sent the transcript, but never heard from UoPeople if they got them. Don't know which email to use and ask.

Just wondering... Are you still able to log into their system and review the transcripts? If so, that may work still. If not, they've closed and their NCCRS credits may not be housed anywhere else. Too bad they weren't ACE and had their credits stored on Credly.

I was wondering if it would make sense to pay for a tesu credit bank and rescue those credits. Would be a bummer to have spent so much time taking them and not getting the credit. I still have the support email.

Actually, come to think of it, applying to Excelsior and/or TESU and having your transcripts (including the ACE/NCCRS credits) would be cheaper than a credit bank, you just need to add a program to your list and 'never finish' it. Hmm, that may save you the extra fees to keep it in a credit bank, as Excelsior/TESU credit banking is at least a few hundred ($495 or more). I would apply to TESU and have everything sent to them, add a cert, an associates, a bachelors, or whatever you want, just don't finish the journey and it'll be on record.

How do I select in tesu signing up without the caveats of 'non matriculated student?' It was my bane in 2023 being unable to sign up even for teceps outside of just 5 limited options ans zero transcript revisions because I was trapped in non matriculated and nobody changed my status even after sending various emails to different people.

I finished every single OnlineDegree.com course and got the transcript sent out to TESU right after they shut down.
Assuming OnlineDegree.com will still send out transcripts AND schools are willing to evaluate them, why wouldn't it "matter anymore"?
