And to our Europen / German friends: Has anyone ever submitted ENEB /  UI1 Diplomas to ANABIN / KMK for official evaluation. That would be quite interesting what they have to say about it, since ANABIN evaluates Titulo propio Masters from official Universities in Span as "Post graduate studies" and not equivalent to a scientific Master. I'd love to see what they say to an ENEB Diploma with UI1 certification

It's like claiming a Stanford degree because Stanford University issued a certificate declaring that a Saylor Academy degree is equivalent to a RA Master's.

With the new collaboration offering up to 15 ECTS credits transferable to official programs and the introduction of a "título propio," some members may feel emboldened to misrepresent themselves as UI1 graduates. However, the validity of these credits is questionable, has anyone confirmed whether Universidad Isabel I actually accept them? Most European countries don’t recognize títulos propios for transfer, even from state universities, with rare exceptions among private institutions.
To be clear, I’m an ENEB graduate myself and understand the temptation to leverage UI1’s name on a resume for practical reasons. But doing so in this forum, where the distinction is well known (or apparently it's not), feels disingenuous. You're allowed to use MBA next to your name if you have a titulo propio in EU, but I'm not sure if that also applies to institutions like Eneb.

UI1 isn't a famous or well-known school. What's the point/benefit of pretending to be a UI1 graduate?  Are you being too sensitive?

The question isn't whether I'm "too sensitive", but why you'd even ask that in a discussion about academic integrity. My post may have been a bit complex for you, so let me clarify. After all, we’re all here to learn and contribute   .
The issue isn't UI1's fame. it's that UI1 is what actually appears on ENEB graduates' certificates, that's the irony you missed. It's about accuracy in representation. Why would someone put UI1 on a resume instead of ENEB? Search for ENEB online and results are rather mixed to negative. Universidad Isabel I, on the other hand, shows up as a recognized university. I hope things are more clear to you now. Take care

Calling it “résumé fraud” to list the actual awarding university that’s on the diploma is a stretch. By that logic, I should also include the courier service that delivered my degree and the brand of ink used on the certificate. ENEB provided coursework, sure, but UI1 is the accredited institution that granted the degree, exactly what’s written on the diploma, and exactly what credential evaluators like ECE recognize. That’s not misleading; that’s just how résumés are supposed to work: you highlight your strongest, accurate credentials, not every subcontractor along the way.

Update: He went ahead and made the revisions and, surprisingly, received grades 24h+. ENEB is definitely more efficient in their turnaround compared to when I did the program. Great to see, as I would imagine their student volume is considerably higher now. Perhaps their grading staff (Professors/Tutors)  is a lot higher now to accommodate the volume of papers coming through.

“ENEB is not a degree granting institution in Spain. It has not been granted degree awarding powers by the Spanish Parliament or the legislative assembly of the Autonomous Community of Catalunya, nor is it listed in the RUCT as an official centro universitario adscrito to Universidad Internacional Isabel I de Castilla. Accreditation by the European Association for International Education and membership in the Spanish Association of Business Schools do not confer official degree granting status or recognition as an official centro universitario adscrito.

Because ENEB is neither a degree granting university nor an official centro universitario adscrito, ECE can only show credit for the specialization program if Universidad Internacional Isabel I de Castilla issues documentation confirming that it awarded ECTS credits for the program. If the university does not issue documentation showing they are awarding credit themselves, ECE has no basis to assign credit.

If the university will not provide a document confirming the number of credits awarded for the specialization program, ECE can either omit this credential from the report or include it as a general item with no credit recommendation, indicating it is equivalent to non credit study.”



This has me really frustrated because I already transferred one global master and three double masters. From what I read on the wiki and in other reports it was supposed to convert to a RA bachelors equivalent. Now they are saying it does not.

I know some people got RA credit for their ENEB and Isabel I programs. What did they do differently. Did they get a specific document from Universidad Isabel I that confirmed the credits.

If anyone has gone through this recently or can share how they got it accepted please let me know. I just want some clarity on what to ask for so I can move forward.
