So who is in our top 5 now? - TINASAM - 05-23-2025

I'm interested in hearing the groups answers to who they think are in the top 5 schools in terms of:

which has the most course transfer options

which has the lowest per credit hour tuition

which CBE schools are the fastest

etc.

Also. I know Modern States is good for CLEP and I know about the ACE and NCCRS courses you can take, but where are some of the best places to find other microcertifications and full certificates that can be transferred into schools?

I'm looking for general knowledge not for a specific degree or school. Thanks.

I’m going to put these in no particular order because the priority order is subjective to the situation of the student. But my current top 5 based on board success are:
TESU
UMPI
ETAMU (formerly TAMUC)
WGU
ASU*

*Primarily as a source of credit with free full program options for qualifying partners such as Starbucks and Uber

As controversial as it seems, I think the following order... And if you don't put ENEB into the account, these next 5.
ENEB (yes, the people getting a Bachelors after evaluation) > WGU> UofPeople> UMPI > ETAMU> TESU

1. TESU (Most credit friendly)
2. Excelsior (More credit friendly than UMPI)
3. UMPI (Cheapest)
4. WGU (Best CBE program)
5. PUG (Best School for Name Recognition)
