Transfer Experience and Choosing the Right Degree? - anychevrolet - 06-08-2025

Hi everyone Exclamation ,
I'm researching online degree programs that save time and money, and I found DegreeForum to be a very useful place to exchange. I currently have some credits from previous courses (including ACE and Sophia.org) and would like to ask if anyone has successfully transferred credits to a school like TESU, Excelsior or UMPI? Also, I'm confused about whether to choose a BA or BS to suit my career goals in the technology field. I hope everyone can share their experiences and advise me to help me orient myself more clearly. Thank you very much!

We've been getting many of these type of posts, without the addendum and template, plus they've got 'spam' links on their profile... Anyone else noticing this?

This is not the TESU, Excelsioir or UMPI sub though.

This isn't really related to this post or threat at all, but how do you have a minor in AI from university of the people? I don't think there's anything related to AI in their coursework and there doesn't really seem to be much info on minor programs at the school in general.

Usually, we wait for them to make a spam post before banning them. I did remove the website URL from their profile, since some of these users are SEO spammers.

Sorry I just saw this while reviewing my posts.

You get "Required Electives" that set your minor/major. Required Electives = After the Required Education is filled, we are still short of credits, so we get a pool of courses that are NOT mandatory but are electives to use to complete your major:
I did:
Artificial Intelligence
Data Mining and Machine Learning
=> With stats and stats inference that makes my minor/major AI in bachelor.
I could have done instead for example (which I did in my asc cause AI stuff is UL I guess wasn't there):

They have 29 courses of these "sets", you can choose as you go along (and do their prerequisites as per your plan), your asc choices are limited but you have like 4 in bsc:

Honestly their AI and ML courses are top notch (if you do your own work and study the information and structure provided).
