D421 without D420? - pluggingalong - 06-19-2025

WGU allows StC "Math 108" to transfer as D420, but my WGU degree would still require D421.  Is D421 dependent on D420?  Would it be a bad idea to take D421 at WGU without first taking D420 at WGU?

It’s almost always better to maximize your credit transfers rather than taking extra courses at WGU. A lot of us aren’t familiar with those course codes or which WGU degree you're referring to.

If you already have RA credit, I’d suggest considering a Computer Science degree from TESU. It would likely be faster to complete than going through WGU.

D420 and D421 are Discrete Math courses required in my BS Data Science degree. I do have a lot of programming credits, I will take a look at TESU CS.
