Coursera - MedicOne - 06-28-2025

I'm considering the current special offer from Coursera and would love to hear your thoughts. I already have access to Google Certificates through another source with Coursera so I'm wondering what unique benefits this deal might provide. Are there additional features, certifications, or opportunities that make it worthwhile.

I didn't see many more ACE approved courses beyond that.

Am I missing something?

If you've used this platform or taken advantage of similar offers, please share your experience and advice!

If you go to the ACE website it has a whole list of coursera courses that range from 3 credits to 18. https://www.acenet.edu/National-Guide/Pages/Organization.aspx?oid=49ddc095-0bdc-ea11-a813-000d3a33232a I'm trying to get all my electives through coursera because it's only $200 for the year. they have both upper level and lower level courses. There's about 30 non google certification for ACE credit. I'm planing on doing IBM full stack, devops, ans azure certificate with the UX google cert to complete all my upper level electives. Then I'm switching to sophia for GE credits. I'm hoping to transfer in 114 credits by the end of the year long subscription.

Basically, Coursera Plus is what you're looking for, it'll have all you can take that have ACE.  If you have a similar freebie with all that's in the cheapies/freebies list, then that's it.  I repeat what I mentioned here: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-OnlineDegree-No-Longer-Proctored-For-now?pid=442020#pid442020

Thanks to ChatGPT, Coursera certs have become much less valued for anything other than ACE transfer credit.

Can you elaborate on the chatgpt portion of your comment?

It should be self explanatory.

It's not just Coursera, any credential or credit classes that have writing involved would be affected by ChatGPT and their AI counterparts... From course providers that are ACE/NCCRS, to institutes, colleges, or universities... I don't even use it, but many people do, to get their job done easier/faster but at the expense of learning properly.

Ahhh

I rather learn the content. It's what you put into the course and what you get out that counts. It's just a piece of paper otherwise
