I have tried several times but have not received a confirmation email.

That bug still hasn't been fixed? It's been happening for years. I tried registering for over a year before I reached out to bjcheung here about it.

DegreeInfo is a very good resource for graduate programs, most of the time if the info isn't here on the graduate subarea, it's at the unofficial sister board (DegreeInfo). In short... It's good enough for me to ask to become a moderator there as well...

Actually, I did jostle the owner and he's going to take another look.
No, not dead at all, and with over twenty years of conversations on this topic, much of which includes rare gems when it comes to graduate programs.
