New UMaine Farmington BA International and Global Studies program on the YP app - sixdegreesandamovie - 09-10-2025

The YourPace application now lists a BA in International and Global Studies as an available program offered through the University of Maine at Farmington.

These types of courses are pretty normal for any degree in “International” anything. Reminds me a lot of the course selection I had for my International Affairs degree

Tbf, at first I thought the course choices I had for that degree were strange, too

Seems super flexible INS 100 req and everything else is a program-focused elective!

Global Studies, maybe, but most International Relations/Affairs align with a less holistic and sociocultural approach and more political science-based (think FSO/FAO or diplomat-focused).

I know its a small school so they probably just threw some electives together and called it good.

It's not an International Relations/Affairs degree. Relations/Affairs is nowhere in the title. It is a "Studies" degree.

That's not clear on the title of the thread and there is a college now offering a CBE program on an app.
