Regional accreditor the Higher Learning Commission in August approved Edgewood University’s request to introduce a Doctor of Technology degree, and in September approved Purdue University Global’s request to introduce a Doctor of Business Administration degree. Further approvals may be needed from other authorities.

Approval to award a degree and that degree actually being announced and offered can be very far apart.
