RE: Fastest Plan for any Bachelor's at Any School - Hotdogman1 - 10-25-2025 Couldn't sleep and bored. I recommend UMPI Bachelor's of Liberal Studies with a Minor in Management. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IbhDeGu3vLqbYoDQPGxqNNPwC2WNB3YRaiaY9F9fv6E/edit?gid=1583217594#gid=1583217594 Edit: I forgot to add details about the cost/school. Sophia is usually $99 a month but there are often $20 sales. UMPI degrees are probably the quickest. They accept 90 transfer credits and accept ACE credits. You can complete as many courses as you can during a 53 day session, costing $1800 per session. I would say hope for 1, expect 2, plan for 3. A lot more info on the school can be found in the wiki and other posts. General Educations will be satisfied with 44 total credits:
Electives You need 120 total credits to graduate. 120 total credits - General education (44) - Minor (18) - LS (24) = 34 Credits. You technically already completed 19 credits but only 12 were previous transferred into UMPI (Check out the UMPI transfer equivalency tool https://mainestreetcs.maine.edu/psp/CSPRDG/EMPLOYEE/SA/c/UM_SA.UM_TRNSFER_GUEST.GBL?). As a result, I'm not sure if they will transfer in. UMPI probably will, but I dunno. Complete any course at Sophia that are not foundational courses. List in attached degree plan.

Thank you so so so much! RE: Fastest Plan for any Bachelor's at Any School - Hotdogman1 - 10-25-2025 A clean 0-100 UMPI BLS Management copy for people who are interested. I made it solely based on the UMPI transfer equivalency guide and the 25-26 UMPI catalog. It requires 33 credits to be taken at UMPI. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1WZMlC7X8T6G-mNelDJqkMyctHyFYdFIwRAIddf4EmBs/edit?usp=sharing Links to the wiki for more information: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UMPI_!General_Education_Requirements_Roadmap https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UMPI_BLS_Management_Degree_Plan RE: Fastest Plan for any Bachelor's at Any School - bjcheung77 - 10-26-2025 For max transfer, TESU at 114 credits, but it goes over your budget. UMPI would be your first choice, UofPeople your second choice due to time, they allow 90 credits transferred as well, but it will take you longer to finish. Price wise, UMPI and UofPeople would fit the bill... I was going to contact all of the schools and have them assess my transfer credits first and see what we are working with, and then load up on Sophia courses before enrolling into their program. But really costs and speed is most important and I think UMPI’s probably ticks all the boxes. How much time do you think is lost or affected by Sophia’s new hardline policy about 2 courses at a time only? How much are people slowed down? My understanding was that previously after you completed two courses if you were only waiting for them to be graded, you could have a third course unlocked and start working on that; but now you have to wait for the courses to be graded, which I believe is 48 hours max, before you can open the next course. RE: Fastest Plan for any Bachelor's at Any School - Hotdogman1 - 10-26-2025 I don't think any of the schools will give you an assessment unless you apply first. The original Sophia strategy was:

Thanks for the info. Applied to UMPI today. What are your thoughts on Study.com along with or instead of Sophia? The only reason I'm asking is because it seems like Study.com is trying to compete more with Sophia and they have changed their pricing plans and removed proctored exams. The College Saver plan looks interesting due to its mobile APP access for complete courses while on the go and allow 3 classes to be completed simultaneously. RE: Fastest Plan for any Bachelor's at Any School - Hotdogman1 - 10-28-2025 It's probably up to your preference at this point with all the changes. College saver is $4 a month cheaper....but Sophia you might get a first month $20 discount. I previously used Sophia but there are a lot more touchstones now. I've heard the new Study.com subscriptions were good but I don't know anyone that has used it personally. Bjcheung77 shared this in another thread for the Study.com UMPI equivalencies: https://study.com/college/school/umpi.html RE: Fastest Plan for any Bachelor's at Any School - bjcheung77 - 11-01-2025 Sophia.org and Study.com both were reevaluated at UMPI and the bulk of their classes no longer hit all the requirements to max the 90 credits I believe... At this point in time, it really depends on what classes you need to take to hit all the general education requirements and electives to max your transfer of 90 credits (or more, they just won't go into the degree). I'll also throw in UofPeople as a contender... |
