Awesome. I got mine via Straighterline and I'm curious about the differences.

Medical Terminology is now live on sophia.org.

21 challenges, 7 milestones, 1 “touchstone task” (you have to submit it, it is not graded, but your work on it is expected to contribute to your touchstone), 1 touchstone.

In the touchstone, you choose one of the patient case studies provided which use fairly everyday terms. You fill in a provided template in which you chart the patient’s history, diagnosis, etc., in a format using professional medical terminology as described. Then you fill out a table in which you answer questions about 25 medical terms related to the case study.

Now that sounds really cool for budding clinicians.

Typically it will take a while for partner schools to make their determinations. It is as ACE-recommended as any.

There are many colleges who accept ACE credit that aren't partners of Sophia. It's also a brand new course and will take time to gain acceptance.
