RE: New Sophia Course Medical Terminology - Jonathan Whatley - 01-05-2026 Medical Terminology is now live on sophia.org. 21 challenges, 7 milestones, 1 “touchstone task” (you have to submit it, it is not graded, but your work on it is expected to contribute to your touchstone), 1 touchstone. In the touchstone, you choose one of the patient case studies provided which use fairly everyday terms. You fill in a provided template in which you chart the patient’s history, diagnosis, etc., in a format using professional medical terminology as described. Then you fill out a table in which you answer questions about 25 medical terms related to the case study. It's also a brand new course and will take time to gain acceptance. |
