The Strait of Hormuz: Is This War Worth the Risk? - LevelUP - 03-14-2026 So I see oil and gasoline prices rising, and I'm starting to wonder: what is the purpose of this Iran war? Sure, Iran has done some bad things, but is this war actually making us any safer, or is it just creating a vendetta against the U.S.? They want to attack Cuba because Cuba can't punch back, and I get that. Not that I agree with it, but I understand how they could attack Cuba and get away with it. Iran can't punch back directly, but they could close the Strait of Hormuz, which would shut down a large part of the world's energy markets and put us at the mercy of Iran. This is becoming a big mess to clean up. RE: The Strait of Hormuz: Is This War Worth the Risk? - jsd - 03-15-2026 What a shocker, establishment Dems and establishment Republicans came together in agreement to push an inept dementia victim claiming to be a "no new wars" President into yet another war, in sprite of the wishes of the voters. Who would have thought?? Who would have thought?? Which establishment Dems? Fetterman was endorsed by Bernie Sanders. Which others are supporting this war? Who would have thought?? Mind you he started this war without congressional approval. Most of those who supports the war in congress do so as a reaction to events rather than influencing this administration. Silly for people to “both-sides” this issue. |
