Managerial Accounting for Excelsior--no exam??? - joikd - 10-16-2008 Excelsior requires Managerial Accounting for a Business Degree, but I can't find any CLEP or DSST tests for this. Is there going to be a new test any time in the next six months? If not, what's the easiest alternative (no class)? Managerial Accounting for Excelsior--no exam??? - gcalvin - 10-16-2008 I wouldn't expect any exam to appear in that time frame. I took the Penn Foster College course, which culminates in a proctored exam. It is self-paced, and can be completed rather quickly, but it is a serious and rigorous course. The final proctored exam is open-book, but it's written-answer, not multiple choice, and the time limit makes it quite a challenge. The course is very reasonably priced, and the course fee includes the textbook and workbook. You can also take a Managerial Accounting course at your local community college, but that is less likely to have as flexible a schedule as the Penn Foster College course. -Gary- Managerial Accounting for Excelsior--no exam??? - creationstory - 10-16-2008 i live in new jersey and took this course Arizona Western College Schedule of Classes ACC-212-003 34218 Managerial Accounting WEB, $25 fee, email: Click here for info... 3.00 Tiffany S. Managerial Accounting for Excelsior--no exam??? - PeteDude - 10-21-2008 There's no ECE, DSST, CLEP, DANTES or TECEP for this course that I'm aware of. There is one other similar option from Ohio University, though: Ohio University Course Credit by Examination I'm thinking about taking that route for Management Accounting, but using the Demystified series book alongside whatever recommended texts from OU.
