Downloading CLEP study guide $10 - YokotaJo - 01-12-2009
I am still preparing for the Human Growth and Devel CLEP and will take it next week. I am using a 2005 Study Guide from the library, thinking that the info is the same year to year. I am not in the US and it takes forever and a day for mail to get it plus I did not think to order it in time. The test in the back is nothing like the IC flashcards or the Peterson tests. I have the 2008 CLEP book that covers all the subjects and the HGD test in there is more in line with what I have been studying. Is the guide that CollegeBoard has for download for $10 the same as the printed one or is it "lite" version of the book or ? ? I have the IC cards down pat now and even know all the parts of the eye which I am sure will only account for 1-2 questions max. It is time to take the dang test and get it over with! Let me know if I should spring for the download guide or if it is more of the same.

To my knowledge, the information in the download 'single subject' guide is the same as the information included in the 'full version, all tests' guide. So, if you have the full official CLEP guide, no need to buy the individual guides. If you've done well on the practice test in the official CLEP guide, I'm sure you'll do well on the actual CLEP. I was going to download the individual guides last month... during the process on the select your examination page... they state in bold letters that if you have the book then DO NOT download the individual guides. The individual guides are taken right out of the book, in other words it is the same information word for word according their website.
Stop stressing out! Relax, review and good luck!
P.S. - I bought the guidebook for my last two CLEP exams, I had questions that were RIGHT out of the guidebook! And a couple other questions that were very, very similar just worded differently.
