Humanities - CDoane - 01-26-2009 Sorry if this is answered elsewhere, things are a bit confusing on this board. Ok I've been studying all month (using this site) and I just took two of the peterson's practice tests and got a 41 and 47% respectively. Am I doing something wrong? If so what? Thanks for whatever! CD Humanities - annegirl - 01-26-2009 You're not doing anything wrong! This test is kinda broad and it takes a while to study for it. ![]() Good luck! Humanities - CDoane - 01-28-2009 Just checking, was concerned there for bit, thats for your help! ![]() CD Humanities - rabateman - 01-28-2009 Did you have a weak spot on the test? I've been studying for the humanities but I'm nervous because I keep hearing negative stories about it. Has anybody here passed the humanities test and maybe have some guidance for those of us who need it (like me)? Thanks in advance. Humanities - Scholar Interrupted - 01-28-2009 Also keep in mind, Peterson's questions seem designed to make you over-prepare a bit. Maybe it's intentional so you don't get over-confident. 47% on Peterson's would probably equal 60%-70% on the CLEP. Humanities - CDoane - 01-29-2009 You guys were totally right, I nearly panicked for no reason lol. I took the final Peterson's and got a 53%. So I took the CLEP and got a 70 out of 80 score ![]() I pretty much studied this site's materials and the practice tests answers I got wrong for about a month few hours a day. This past week I started on the Peterson's and for a minute there I thought all my prep was wasted but it worked out. ![]() Christina D. |
