I took the SS & History CLEP 2 weeks ago, I found it difficult, but I have not studied any History before this test. It really does have a wide range of knowledge on this one. I Highly recommend joinig IC, no matter how many test you take you can't beat the value/$ you get with IC. I took and passed test before IC, but since joining I feel better prepared for test and I prepare faster.

Passed SS&H today with a 56. I used mainly IC. I was supposed to study the Comex SS&H book, but couldn't ever hook up with the friend that had it, so I just took what I had and tested. I think it helped that I had just finished my histories, psychologies and sociology.
My test seemed to have a lot of economics on it which I wasn't quite so familiar with. Even had on art question where I had to identify the time period on a statue.

Used the Comex guide and Cracking the CLEP, mostly. I did not use IC. I got a 70.
