When taking a test... - Keyboard Ninja - 08-23-2006 I'm studying for my Principles of Management CLEP exam right now, and I hope to take it in 14 days. What I was curious to know was how is the test setup? Is it just multiple choice, with similar questions to what InstantCert has to offer? Or are they scenarios, and you have to identify which answer relates to the scenario? When taking a test... - DaddyO - 08-23-2006 First of all, the CLEP is just a regular multiple choice test. You are timed, so dont dwell too long on a question. Second principles of Management is one of the easiest CLEP exams. I got an A in it. Two weeks is plenty of time. Know the IC stuff and if you can get the white Comex Clep review book from Amazon for principles of management. It was a great help. Good luck. When taking a test... - Keyboard Ninja - 08-24-2006 Thats great to hear! Is it necessary that I get that book from Amazon? When taking a test... - shadowcross - 08-24-2006 I am also Studying for Principles of Management, as I am informed it "piggy-backs" off the information I learned in my studies in Principles of Supervision. I sure hope the CLEP, is much easier than the DANTES exam I took. I guess, I'll soon see. Oh, yeah, Keyboard Ninja: I also graduated out of "The Rock." BMT FLT 176, 30 JAN 03 Cheers! You still have to know your stuff, but it is very easy to score highly on the CLEP Intro to Management exam. For what it's worth....Personally, I would place Intro to Management in the "easiest" category of all exams. I would place Principles of Supervision in the "easy" category. Hope that helps, Snazzlefrag When taking a test... - PriTyan - 08-24-2006 I woke up early on test day and studied IC for about two hours and scored a 59 on the CLEP. This is an easy exam. I studied a little longer for the Principles of Supervision, because DANTES are graded at COSC, and scored an A. Probably took them out of order, but they were really not that difficult. ![]() PriTyan When taking a test... - shadowcross - 09-22-2006 snazzlefrag Wrote:It IS much easier! You're right again, Snazz. I just took Principles of Management. I wasn't sure how I'd do when I was walking into the Education Center, but Once I started taking the test, I breezed through it like it was nothing. It was SOOOO easy! hilarious Cheers! Hi Blue, Principles of Management is almost entirely about recognizing basic terms/definitions/facts. There is some application, but it's all very straightforward. As long as you know the material presented in Instantcert, you should be good to go. Best of luck, Snazzlefrag |
