EC - would CLEP Human Growth/Dev & DSST Lifespan Dev Psych be considered duplicates? - Kelly Green - 05-03-2009

Have any of you taken both of these exams? Would I get credit for both at Excelsior? Or would they be considered duplicates, and I would get credit for just one or the other?

Thanks!

I was told by my EC advisor that these would be duplicate credit. ECE has a Lifespan Developmental Psych and that would also be a duplicate of these. If you need the credit I think I heard the human growth and developement was easier, but I believe the DSST Lifespan will give you a letter grade, unless they just dropped that to pass/fail. That way if you wanted the grade you would have to take the ECE - more money for EC! I hope this helps.

Thank you for the fast reply!

I figured those exams would be considered duplicates!

Hi!

DANTES Lifespan Developmental Psychology is still on the list to receive grades at EC.

54=A, 49=B, 46=C

The exam for credit guide has been updated to reflect the 10 DANTES tests that are only pass/fail now.
