Analyzing and Interpreting Lit. - TuxSkywalker - 06-22-2009

Hi,

I am not seeing any flashcards or whatnot about the A&I CLEP on the list of InstantCert courses. It looked pretty simple on the official CLEP study guide with the exception of one or two definitions that I didn't know. Does anybody have any recommended links to look up for the harder concepts before taking A&I?

Thanks,
TuxSkywalker

For what it's worth, I just took this exam, and on my version there were very few conceptual questions -- knowing the details of obscure poetry types or lots of terms in depth would have made little/no difference in my score. Just the same, in the feedback section of the forum (available if you are a member of IC) there are some links, but you can probably find them by googling 'literary interpretation'. A couple hours with Idiot's Guide to English Literature also helps refresh the knowledge of literature types, etc.

Hello! I just took this exam last thursday and passed with a 65. All I did was read through the REA book, take some of the free peterson tests, and study literary terms. eg. allegory, etc. There are a ton on this website! Literary Terms Good luck on the exam!
