Minor note on Excelsior grades for CLEPs - Braylen - 09-05-2006

I've apparently been working from an old Student Guide for Excelsior as I got the latest update on my status and noticed that two CLEPs I thought were graded were flagged simply as Passes (Intro to Psychology & Analyzing and Interpreting Literature).

I went and found the latest (2005-2006) guide and saw that the number of graded CLEPs went from 12 to 7.

I just thought I'd mention it in case others are tracking their grades with CLEPs.

All of the DANTES are still fully graded.

FYI

MOST of the CLEPs are pass/fail now at Excelsior. Word is that they will ALL eventually be pass/fail.

Of course, all DANTES exams are still graded.

Here's the list of CLEPs that ARE still graded (as of the 2006 Catalog):

American Literature (50/55/64)
English Literature (50/55/67)
American Government (50/58/69)
Principles of Macroeconomics (50/54/61)
Principles of Microeconomics (50/54/60)
College Algebra (50/54/60)
Principles of Management (50/56/60)

All other CLEPs are pass/fail now.

Hope that helps,
