I also read some websites on essay writing and just reviewed basic grammar. The Free Petersons link on here is a great money saver! AMU Clep Tests - salexander - 06-28-2009 Either English Comp with or w/o essay which one do you think would be easier ? AMU Clep Tests - Old Rusty Pipe - 06-28-2009 Since we're on the topic of AMU, do you have any room for electives remaining? You can complete DOCNET courses to meet the elective requirements. AMU Clep Tests - salexander - 06-28-2009 I have completed all my electives from a previous associates degree i received through a tech school before i joined the military. Unfortunately, I had no idea what national and regional accredidation meant and my school was only nationally accredited so all my classes only transferred to electives. They only took 42 out of the total 72 that I had. I was pissed... But it took care of all my electives so I guess at least they took something... So now I'm having to re do all of my gen eds and theres no way i'm going to waste time actually taking the classes...I'm going to CLEP English, History, and Humanities first, then Literature, Political Science, and Social Science. I've already ordered CLEP study guides just waiting on those then i'm going to hit it hard and get this crap done... Because you have an essay they remove certain types of questions that they would otherwise ask you. I have taken the History of the US I already and didn't really use anything besides the flash cards & forum comments. I will be also taking the western civilization test in a few days for my other 3 credits. Suggestions: - Use the instantcert flash cards! Go through all of them at least once - Go through the exam specific forms for comments on what to study - Choose tests that have high pass rates & with subjects you are familiar with: http://www.dantes.doded.mil/dantes_web/library/docs/examinations/computer_based_exams.pdf - Use your education office or library to get study guides if possible - Eat a good meal and be well rested for the test day. Do something you enjoy to relive any stress AMU Clep Tests - Lindagerr - 06-28-2009 I would emphasize the Free Peterson test 3 test you get graded read explanations of answers. I find them one of the best resources for most test. Which study guides did you order? REA or Pass your class are most recommended from what I have seen. |
