What Category are Health and Physical Ed Courses? - WESTPAC - 07-13-2009 Are these courses in the Humanities Category or ? Thanks Appreciate any response WESTPAC What Category are Health and Physical Ed Courses? - perrik - 07-13-2009 Depends on the class, and on the college from which you're seeking credits. Excelsior's official policy: "College courses in physical education can be counted only if they have a classroom component with a theoretical base. Activities courses in physical education are not acceptable in transfer to Excelsior College. Academic advisors may request course descriptions to verify the theoretical content of a physical education course." My guess is that any accepted PE classes would be classified as applied professional and would count towards free electives. Health classes might be natural science, social science or applied professional, depending on the actual course content. |
