WOW!!! I just took the american gov't test and passed with a 50. Hey a pass is a pass. IC was very good however use other sources, REA is a good choice. Know the ins and outs of congress and how they work on the back of your hand, there were many questions on it. Now on to world religions, should be fun, jk! I thought that the test was much much harder than petersons practice tests. Peterson was very on the mark with the types of questions, however in the way the questions were asked, the college board tricks you much better. On many questions two answers were so similar that it was very difficult to choose between them. Good luck guys, you'll do great!

Ha! That was the same score I got on this one. My many hours of watching "West Wing" just weren't enough.
You overcame it though and got the credits!Congrats on the pass!
Edit: Had to pull out the scoresheet to make sure. Sure enough, a 50!

Nice work!!! A 50 might as well be an 80 and vice versa with these things. Gotta love these tests... ;-)

Congratulations! I am going to have to take that one eventually since APU requires 6 poli-sci credits and my old community college only required 3.

I agree that IC is good for this test -- in fact, I think IC excels on this test. With my prior knowledge from being a news junkie, the two Standard Deviants DVDs, and the InstantCert flash cards (three cheers for IC!), this test didn't have a chance.

Hey I am glad to hear you passed. As someone else said it really doesn't matter what the score is along as you passed. Congrats!
