Lots of Questions - NYTtech - 10-15-2006 Hello to everyone! I am new here and have a few questions. My school will only accept 30 clep and dsst credits. The following courses are the ones that I want to take: Hereâs to Your Health Intro to World Religions Macroeconomics Microeconomics Principles of Accounting Intro Business Law Principles of Management Principles of* Marketing Statistics Finance Art of the Western World These equal out to 36 credits. Which two tests would you not take? Also, which order would you take these in? In you experience how do you rate them in terms of difficulty? Any other thoughts or advice would be appreciated. I have Here's to Your Health scheduled for Friday of this week. Lots of Questions - Blue - 10-15-2006 welcome to the forum nyttech =] i just started taking CLEP exams for my school as well so i've only taken one so far. i think you should just start with principles of management. it's easy and it's a great one to just start things off and to get used to the CLEP exams. i never took management before so i just studied the subject on my own using IC, the free Peterson's tests, and a book from Comex (which was more of a review of everything else than new material). i def overstudied b/c i didn't know what to expect since it was my first one. but either way, i got a 70 so i'm happy. i also heard principles of marketing is as easy as management so maybe you could take that one next? good luck nyttech! =] Lots of Questions - snazzlefrag - 10-15-2006 Hi NYTtech, Difficulty is a relative thing, so it's hard to know how hard YOU will find each exam. Personally, I would list their difficulty like this: EASY: Principles of Management Hereâs to Your Health Intro Business Law Principles of Marketing MODERATE: Intro to World Religions Macroeconomics HARD: Principles of Accounting Microeconomics Statistics Finance (I haven't taken Art of the Western World). In terms of which order to take them in, I would just try to group certain exams close together, as follows: Principles of Management Principles of Marketing Statistics Principles of Accounting Finance Macroeconomics Microeconomics -- Hope that helps, Snazzlefrag Lots of Questions - g2o2d4p2 - 10-16-2006 totally agree with that order but I am hoping that micro isn't that much harder than macro since I'm taking it wednesday |
