There are 95 questions. The test is was fairly easy and I used IC to study. I familiarized mysellf with each topic by reading it about 5 times a piece. Most of the questions are simple and straight to the point...not much guessing involved....good luck Anyone taken the Here's to Your Health DSST? - jcwphr - 10-25-2009 I am looking for a solid study guide for HTYH - DSST. I have Petersons Official Prep but the HTYH is not included. I was going to purchase the study guide from PYC but most of the reviews have been thankfully candid and honest, so I am not eager to waste money there. Any suggestions? My test is schedueled later in the week this week. I am not new to the general material... just need a refresher and would feel more confident having a secondary resource in conjunction with IC. Thanks in advance for your help!! Anyone taken the Here's to Your Health DSST? - Sunny - 10-27-2009 I joined today. I'm taking the Here's to Your Health test. I'd like to print the flash cards to make my own study guide. Is that possible? I wanted to combine them all to make a booklet without wasting a ton of paper. What is the majority of the test on? Does anyone know? Thanks.. Anyone taken the Here's to Your Health DSST? - jcwphr - 10-29-2009 I sat for 2 DSST exams today ... HTYH = 419 (B) & Intro to Business = 423 (B). I was previously looking for a study guide for HTYH to use in conjuntion with the IC flashcards but could not find one in time. I took the feedback/ list provided from other IC members (TY!!!) and located all the answers, took the Peterson's practice test twice- (1st 65/100 no study & 2nd 76/100 with study) - reviewed missed answers and copied all into a word doc (I am including here for any one needing it) to create my own guide. This was done over a period of 2 days (actual time invested = about 4 hours). Many of the questions on the practice tests are on the real test - very consistant - and about 90% + of the material included in the attached guide is covered on the exam as well. Based on my practice scores, I should have done better but I was a little out of sorts when I sat for the exam having prepared for 2 at once; so I assume this may have affected my performance. NONETHELESS - it's done = 3 credits earned! Happy about THAT ~ ![]() Hope the guide helps! Thank you again to all the previous IC members who took the time to post your feedback as this was VERY helpful! Best wishes! Anyone taken the Here's to Your Health DSST? - Estephana - 12-22-2011 Allen, I was wondering if you had that PDF version? Going to take this and I am a little scared I may not pass have had no luck of finding a study guide or even where I can find something, thank you in advance. |
