Law schools will not consider any grades after you earn your first bachelor's degree. Your GPA for law school applications is already set in stone.

Looks interesting however I don't think I'd pursue it. I would never survive calculus for one thing. The credit hour cost is also way more than the local business school... and I'm not in a position to pay that. Plus, I won't qualify for grants or student loans right now so everything is out of pocket. I *might* be able to swing a term at WGU in a few months but that depends on not having any major unexpected expenses come up... which I don't have the best luck with. Right now it's major vehicle issues that are probably going to put WGU out of reach for at least 4-5 months.

LSAC won't use the grades to calculate their admission GPA to send to applied schools, but having a grad degree/additional degrees can definitely be a factor in admissions, even if the GPA isn't being considered.

That's true (however, from everything I've read, the effect will be very minimal); however, that's a benefit of both Walden and WGU, so the potential of getting a shiny GPA from Walden vs no GPA from WGU for law school purposes isn't a good reason to choose Walden over WGU

Exactly, and this is what I am banking on. I didn't have family support at all during undergrad and at the beginning I was working way too much to be able to afford to be there... which affected my college experience in numerous ways.

Just an update. I was admitted to UoP and will be doing a term there to transfer credits back to Walden. I don't think I am going to be able to do both concentrations due to finances, but I am going to milk the Tempo program for all the credits that I can before switching. I want to do the social entrepreneurship concentration, but I am going to see if they will let me use the following electives to create a sort of hybrid between healthcare management and social entrepreneurship:

- Law, Ethics, and Policy in Healthcare Administration (WMBA 6604/MMHA 6300)
- Improving Healthcare Performance Through Social Entrepreneurship (MMHA 6682) - This will depend on if they let me take it from their MMHA Tempo program
- Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation: A Global Perspective (WMBA 6880) - probably will transfer in from somewhere. Any suggestions?

This term I will be doing the following courses at UoP:
- BUS 5110 Managerial Accounting
- BUS 5111 Financial Management

Next term at UoP I plan to take:
- BUS 5114: Management Information Systems and Technology
- BUS 5211 Managing in the Global Economy

I have this mapped out in a spreadsheet by term, course delivery method, and cost. If I can swing this my total to complete the MBA will be about $6,851, a little over $1k of that being for taking the social entrepreneurship course somewhere else and transferring it since Walden is $995/cr for grad studies. I am still happy with that cost. I think with all my health issues I could not have completed a WGU MBA in a single term, and two terms at WGU would be $7,600. This method I feel less rushed and still get electives I think will be useful.

I still would like to take a course on business feasibility and one on new venture creation, but I think I can do that through a MOOC or as an elective for the JD program in the future.
