I know Grantham will give tuition discounts to veterans (not just active duty military). Are there any other schools that offer something similar?

I know schools may give in-state tuition to military, and possibly veterans, so this might be something to look at as well. Basically a discount.

Basically a discount.I certainly appreciate the response; would you happen to know what those schools might be? That's really what I'm asking. I was curious if other veterans (not active duty) have run across specific schools that offer tuition discounts for VETS (not active duty) - like the example I listed with Grantham.

Liberty University offered substantial veteran discounts when I attended there. I am not sure what they currently offer, but you may want to check them out.

I received in-state tuition from University of South Alabama and University of Alaska Fairbanks. If you're in the Guard, Reserves, or Active most of the time you get the same. I fell under state law for veterans with a VA disability rating. Sometimes using VA benefits mandate in-state tuition as well. I also call the veteran's office at any school I'm interested in.

I'm currently doing the Associates of Arts in Film @ Central New Mexico Community College. Veterans receive a Residency Waiver, meaning vets pay in-state tuition.
CNM Tuition Schedule is this: New Mexico Residents $56 per credit hour (1-11 credit hours) 12-18 Credit Hours: $672 More than 18 Credit Hours: $672 + $56 per credit hour above 18 Non-New Mexico Residents 1-11 Credit Hours: $296 per credit hour 12-18 Credit Hours: $3,552 More than 18 Credit Hours: $3,552+ $296 per credit hour above 18 Because we get a residency waiver with your DD-214 verification and/or VA Medical Card, it's a HUGE discount! A full 60 credit Associates Degree is approximately $3500, or about $850 x 4 semesters. Less if you transfer credits into CNM. I transferred 30 from other colleges and about 12 from JST (Military) Transcripts. -Michael "Chap" Smith
