I just want to say thanks, this forum is great, can't believe the progress, I am so close to completing my degree, and I don't think I would have been this far right now without discovering this forum.

Thanks, yep, as soon as I am done with a couple of classes this month, I am almost done with all courses I need from Sophia (will have 87 credits by then) and will move to study.com and alternate it with some TESU courses (11 courses, 33 credits total, UL and LL), I decided to take courses with TESU to satisfy the residency requirements.

I've heard that The Institutes course no longer counts for the Ethics requirement, so I'd take the Sophia course. Unless you already have this on your eval for ethics, in which case you're fine.
You also can't take Info Lit at Study.com (I mean you can, but it will just count as a GE Elective or Free Elective). This is the cornerstone course now, and must be taken at TESU.

Lacedonia is grandfathered in under their catalog year, so they just need the equivalent course, per their earlier posts, dfrecore. Or at least that's what I remember, with catalog and even handles sticking in my head.
Go, Lacedonia! You're so close!

I started in November 2018 and between transferring previous community college credits and taking a few courses here and there, I was finally able to lock into the 2019 catalog and the real progress actually started once I discovered this priceless forum. And with sophia being free, I was on a roll. And yes, everything already appears on my academic evaluation, so the ethics course at the Institutes is also locked in, as I took the course and transferred it way back. My list is just to show what was completed, what is in progress and what is planned. And I will have to take Library Science and Short Stories courses on study.com before their expiration date at end of September. My goal is to complete by January 2021 at the latest. |
