TESU BSBA question
#1
Hi everyone,

I am very close to completing a BSBA in Human Resources Management/ Organizational Management. I’ve been debating if I want to do a dual degree in Healthcare Management. I have 10 years experience in healthcare and I want to continue to work in healthcare. However, it doesn’t seem that I can test out of a BSBA in Healthcare Management. Does anyone know if the following courses/SSA’s from CSU Global transfer to TESU for the Comparative Healthcare Systems and The Financing and Economics of Healthcare Delivery requirements?

TESU BSBA Healthcare Requirements

A.     Healthcare Management 3SH
HCM-307 Principles of Healthcare Managemen.                                                                  Study.com-Health 303: Healthcare Organization & Management

The degree will read the same no matter. You're work experience will hold more weight than having an extra concentration; and adding the extra concentration will delay you being done. And remember that the degree that has the greatest impact is the one you complete, not the one you're still working on.  I would suggest you stick with the AOS you have completed - get the BSBA done, and keep the healthcare concentration as a focus for a master degree later. You could use the money you save by not adding the Healthcare AOS towards a Master of Health Leadership or MBA Healthcare Management at WGU - far more bang for the buck; and if you have employer tuition assistance WGU works well with that.

You can't test out of the HCM concentration at TESU.

I would not let this slow me down - just get the BSBA/HRM degree and be done with it.

CSU Global courses are $1050 per 3 credit course. You will write papers almost every week for 8 weeks in addition to weekly cited discussion posts. I just left there and went to UMPI instead. You are limited to 2 courses per term for undergrad at CSU Global as well. If anyone has CSU Global questions, feel free to message me. Just make sure your account is set to receive messages back so I can respond. I've had people reach out and I can't respond to them because they don't accept messages.
