I wonder if you need to appeal now just so you don't get stuck with this potentially wrong decision later (after 30 day deadline).
You need 30 new UL credits?!? That's a lot! How many can be Liberal Arts and free electives and not specific to your new major? I have not looked closely to see if any of these are UL; would any of the shorter and less expensive ECE's be an option?
Shortened Exams - excelsior.edu
Breakdown of the UL credits needed for the degree I am enrolled in:
9 Arts & Science
6 ANY AREA
15 In business Component of which 9 must be in the Business & Management Core
Regarding ECE's I requested approval to take Pathophysiology as part of the 9 UL I need in A&S but was denied due to the following:
"This exam requires knowledge in a number of areas in which you have not had any coursework/exams. Assumes a familiarity with normal anatomy and physiology and microbiology. A familiarity with concepts of biochemistry and immunology is suggested. "
I would not have asked for approval to take the exam if I did not believe I would pass it with a good grade. So this is just one example of the things that are frustrating this time around.
