This new policy with ProctorU is horrible. With ProctorU, you are forced to grant someone access to your computer and webcam. You have to trust that this person (most likely overseas) is not going to exploit that permission. You have to trust that their is not a bug or an exploit in their software that will allow them to steal files or information from you.
Straighterline also promises you can complete an unlimited amount of courses if you pay the $99 subscription and course fees. Now, if you complete them too fast and you don't make them enough money you will be flagged.
Also, this is breaking the agreement that was in place when people signed up for their accounts.
So far no response by Straighterline. Maybe we can get someone with a DegreeInfo account to post over there so we can get more people to sign up?
