TESC Is No Longer Accepting Community College Credits As Upper Level?? (Need advice)

Sorry for being entirely selfish in this response, but I wonder if this will enhance the degrees already earned? That is if TESC improves its name-recognition and is seen in a favorable light academically by more folks, perhaps the "blank stare" I've gotten when employers come across the degree on my rÃsumà will go away. It hasn't hurt my prospects that I know of they just are ignorant of the school.

This might have something to do with accreditation like NAP said. I doubt the new general education requirements will help improve TESC's name recognition. They require less math/science courses and can still be tested out of. Not accepting CC credits as UL credits hasn't helped COSC or EC with better reputations, so it's not going to do anything for TESC. The only ways I can see that these schools can make themselves look more prestigious is by having selective admissions, professors with PhDs, more graduate programs, and residency requirements. I think TESC will be able to build a good reputation in nursing because of the brick and mortar programs it has. It has already managed to become ranked among traditional colleges. My guess is that the additions to their campus will be for nursing.
