Actually, it is depending on your major. Capstones at COSC can run between 5 weeks and 15 weeks. If you are doing a Individualized Studies major, then your capstone is 15 weeks total. A 5 week course to develop the project and then a 10 week course to complete the project.
The Public Safety Administration major is only a 5 week Capstone, I think most of the others are going to be between 8 and 15 weeks.....either way it's doable, just not in the same semester.
I might be in the minority here, but I chose COSC in part because they required things like a Cornerstone and a Capstone. Their standards have actually gone up since I enrolled, of course that could be just a result of increased oversight on all schools from the New England Association of Colleges and Schools.
