Helping daughter with degree plan. Is my line of thinking correct?

@bjcheung77 thank you for the welcome and the information. I will provide more information below regarding my daughter’s educational ambitions. I have also added the grades to the classes and will update the template information.

Location: Richmond, Virginia
Age:24
Kind of degree: Business Administration (Maybe management or leadership focus)
Current Regional credits: 62 transferrable credits from the Virginia Community College System. Credits were earned from 2017-2019.
Credits from ACE/CLEP/NCES: None currently
Military experience: None
Certifications: None
Financial Aid: None-will pay as we go, her mother and I will help with tuition where we can. She has about $5k saved id need to be used .
Tuition Reimbursement: None at this time.
Commitments: Nothing other than full time job and taking care of pets. Can  study most weeknights and weekends.

I am not familiar with competency based educational programs. I did my BSBA, and MBA traditionally at campus full and part time over twenty years ago. A lot has changed and for the better. You can believe if a format of online education was available to me back when I was in college, I would have jumped at the opportunity!

We will look at the UMPI Yourpace program and see if that is an option. If she can complete three courses in 8 weeks that is an option.

Also thinking about additional courses she can take via Sophia and Study.com to maximize transfer credit.

SNHU is too expensive IMHO, when you want a simple business degree that can be gotten easily at either of these places.

Thank you for your reply @dfrecore. Will look at these programs. Do you happen to know if there is an out of state tuition fee for the TESU program?
