Just an update -- the CLEP test fee is now $80.

This, of course, does not include the fee that may be charged by the testing center (often $15 - $25).

Active duty military can still take these exams for free at their base education center. However, DANTES no longer funds re-takes (i.e. if you've failed an exam before, you'll have to take it again with your own money).
