I am from South africa and i want to teach english in china and/or korea but to do that i need a bachelors degree.
i didn't want to study for 4 years before i could teach English but
Luckily i found out that you can accelerate your degree through the big 3. A few things still confuse me.

Is it possible to complete a Ba in English from thomas edison state university through credit by examination completely online.
i can't take clep or dsst exams because they need onsite testing. I see that Straightliner allows testing online through proctorU.
Will they have all my courses for my english degree?

sorry if i am asking dumb questions i am still trying to figure this out

Don't worry, those aren't dumb questions.

Doing a BA in English is a little tricky because there are a few courses that are hard to find. For your situation, I would recommend just a BA in liberal studies. It'll be the quickest and most flexible.

StraighterLine has a lot of the courses you would need. Study.com also has a bunch of courses. There are a few other sources but you should be able to get the majority of your classes through those 2 providers.

If you go for a BA LS degree, you will have a much easier time finding the classes that you will need. You would be able to get the majority of your classes through StraighterLine, study.com, Sophia, Saylor, ed4credit, etc.(all these are online only, so no testing center). Study.com in particular will have a decent selection of UL courses. I recommend checking out the beginners start guide and the wiki. Find a decent degree plan and start figuring it out from there. We can help you along the way. Also, a great place to start would be the 2 free courses from Sophia.

Good luck!
