Long story short: I am 40-ish without any prior college credits. I am looking at going the course/test route from the ACE approved providers, such as study.com, Saylor etc.
I have a lot of free time right now, so the main things would be to cut costs, and try to earn the credits ASAP.
I am open to the AS/BS in Business major if that's the fastest/cheapest option.
Thanks!
One huge advantage of not having any credit, is that you're not invested in the idea of using your old credits! Seriously - that's a barrier for many people, and can create a crazy plan. So, you're not locked in to anything - that's great!
Thanks for the positive reply! I am mainly looking at the easiest/fastest option to get to a BS/BA degree from scratch. Open to any school suggestions, degree plans etc.

You can first plan out a degree with them using 30cr that are harder to find or required to take through them, then find the cheapest/fastest/easiest ways to get the other 90cr.
Do those 90cr first, then apply, make sure everything transfers as planned, and then you are set to start. You can finish the rest in a single 6-mo term for like $3,500.
Hello and thanks for the info! I am also having to re-examine my view, with posts like this one. WGU also allows one to use FinAid, correct? If you're enrolled in a certain number of credits each semester, correct? Anyways, I would like to know, is there some place I can find pre-made degree plans for places like COSC, WGU etc and which online courses/tests that I can take in lieu of the "traditional" classes via the 90 ACE etc credits

I didn't think TESU required Pre-calculus for a business degree. I just double-checked their site and didn't see it listed. Am I missing something? I ask because I am literally in the middle of applying to TESU right now and about had a heart attack when I saw your comment. lol

Sorry!! I misspoke- but my son's brick wall was College Algebra, so instead, he took Business Stats and attends COSC.
Algebra is something I would rather avoid so it's on to taking a look at COSC degree plans/costs etc.
WGU is also going to get a second look as well.
