HES Poetry - Registration Question

Hi All,

If I don't lose my nerve , I plan to enroll in HES's Poetry in America: Mayflower through Emerson (start date - Sept. 4th). Not happy about the quadruple increase in price or the change in grade allocation for assignments (the essay is now 30% of your final grade), but as the trite saying goes...it is what it is.

One question for those who have taken a HES Poetry course. Is there any advantage to registering early? Do you gain access to assignments, due dates, etc. or any other helpful info not presented in the available syllabus?

I assume they've made the course more difficult to justify the $1000 price tag.
