I am 6 days into my first term with WGU in the MSCSIA program. I was pleased to open an email last night awarding me the WGU Cybersecurity Scholarship that I applied for. Unfortunately, it is $5000 for 4 terms, divided equally among terms. I do not plan on being there that long, but it will certainly help. If I can complete in the two terms that I planned, it will be a $2500 savings, and that is nothing to balk at, especially with their tuition fairly low to begin with. So far, I have passed ever pre-assessment for every course. I think I will move through the program quickly, earn that first Masters and then move on to my local college, Embry-Riddle for their Aviation Cybersecurity grad program.
Definitely, thanks to this group for the pointers and guidance along the way.
