Degree Plan – BS Math Major at Excelsior

Please see my final transcript/degree plan posted here - http://degreeforum.net/mybb/showthread.p...#pid139048

This is going to take more courage to post than I expected.

Less than a year ago, I found out that Texas A&M is offering a Master’s in Biostatistics program entirely online. That is the degree that I want so now I just need a Bachelor’s degree and I would like to major in math.

If I had to create my dream college plan of what I really want to learn at the undergraduate level, this would be it.

Is it possible that in just these 15 “easy” steps I could have a degree?

Will Excelsior accept this much testing for credit toward a degree?

I realize that some of my credits overlap with credits for the GREs (I’m doing that on purpose to make sure I have a good foundation for the GREs) and that I may not get full credit for the GREs, so I may have to plan to take some extra exams. (I also need some computer courses which are prerequisites for the Master’s program.)

I am planning to study for 1 month for 3 credit tests, 2 months for 6 credit tests, 1 year for GREs, and 2 years while studying for other exams for the 12 credit language tests. I expect this to take at least 5 years to complete. I want to create a good foundation for the Master’s program.

Any comments would be appreciated. Am I understanding how to put together a degree plan correctly? I feel like I may be missing something important. I will check with Excelsior about my plan, but I wanted to know your thoughts.

Thank you all for creating such an excellent support network for the college exam process!
