So I've finished all the CLEPs I intended to take, I might still take the Humanities CLEP for some easy extra credits if I have an issue with transfer credit.
I didn't buy a single study resource, but I did buy a Peterson's test for Macro. Complete list of CLEPs I took as follows:
Sept 10:
A&I Lit: 76 - Cold
Intro to Psych: 63 - Cold
Principles of Mgmt: 67 - Cold
Sept 11:
Principles of Mktg: 66 - Cold
Macroeconomics: 66 - 1 hour IC + 1 Peterson's test
Microeconomics: 55 - 30 minutes IC
Sept 13:
Business Law: 67 - 2 hours IC
So I didn't use IC that much but I can definitely say that it covers the right information and for the exams which are more about memorisation (e.g. B-Law) rather than understanding concepts (e.g. Micro) it is really all you need. A quick run through the flashcards and exam threads combined with some intuition during the test was enough for me, YMMV. Thanks everyone for all the data points in this thread and others, they were a big boost to my confidence in writing these tests. I'll post some info about the DSSTs I'm taking when I'm finished them all by the end of the week.
