With all this spooky talk of changes, should I go ahead and get started with TESU?

Any particular ones you might recommend?

Actually, for an English degree, I think the TECEP credits that you can use are available through the cheaper sources. Maybe Eng Comp II if you don't already have that or Technical Writing.

Ah, thanks! Do you happen to think the Cornerstone thing (rather than a TECEP) would work if I end up getting these through other means?

No reason for a TECEP. Being an applicant is enough to lock in the catalog and the Capstone course will give you enrolled status soon enough. You will want to start the Capstone by June at the latest so that you get the study.com discount on it. Are you aiming for Sept graduation? If so, you should register the capstone no later than the May term. June graduation? Start the Capstone no later than the Feb term.

Ah, davewill is right. I would skip the cornerstone to save money. With the Study.com affiliation you're allowed to waive the cornerstone.

Thank you!
I can get the capstone done before transferring in the majority of my credits then? I was under the impression that it was one of the last things to do for some reason, aha

TESU is fine with doing the capstone anytime Smile

Oh awesome!! That's good to hear!

I hope June graduation is even possible from where I stand currently. I should prep for 20-30 days every time I submit a transcript?

It will take them about a month or more to review your credits. It was something like 25 business days (not including weekends or holidays). But with most courses it's based on the date you take them, not when they evaluate. Still better to get them sent sooner rather than later.

June starting with 12 credits? Do you already have an Associates?

Just send in transcripts wherever you've done a significant number of courses. For June graduation, they will audit your credits for the first time in May or April. After that, they will process any transcripts you send in on an expedited basis. You will probably want to let the graduation office know each time you send in a new batch of credits. You can work with them and keep sending in credits right up close to the end of May. If you don't make it, they will simply roll you over to Sept, so no harm in trying for June.

Uh, nah, unfortunately starting from scratch. Ultimately September is fine, it'd just help my current situation to get it sooner. I know how ridiculous it might be. Especially between work and everything. I'll just try my best! Smile

Edit: The 12 credits are (mostly) what I have so far from this month, and after I finish my math credit I'll be working on the UL lit credits!
