Technically I have the opportunity to walk in two different commencements this year if I wish since I finished my TESU degree in March and will complete my WGU degree next month (was hoping for this month, but my capstone group is moving slowly).
Similar to jsd, a trip from CA to NJ just for the TESU commencement isn't really practical for me, so I have no plans to attend that one. Had I planned to stop at the bachelor's, I might be more inclined to make the trip since it would be my only opportunity. But with my master's degree being nearly done now, it is less important to me now.
I will probably walk for my MBA since WGU is likely to have a commencement in CA again next year, and that would only be a day trip. Alternatively, it might be worth bringing the family along for a weekend at Disneyland or something.
If I get any more advanced degrees (like a doctorate or a second master's degree) I will likely walk for those since advanced degrees feel like they need to be celebrated. Completing the bachelor's felt more like checking a box while the MBA feels more like I'm completing a degree that I am actually interested in.
