That's too generic of a question (at least for me). What are you trying to accomplish, a degree? What school? The best way to get credits without being enrolled is to take CLEP, DSST, or other exams or to complete independent study courses with ALEKS, Straighterline, or FEMA (among others). You just need to make sure that wherever you plan on ending up is willing to take what you accumulate. If you tell us more about what you are looking to do you'll find a lot of helpful information on here.
My completed "non-traditional" credits include 27 credits from CLEP, 30 credits from DSST, 6 credits from ALEKS, 19 credits from FEMA courses including PDS, 3 credits from NFA courses, 10 credits from ACE Workplace Training, 3 credits from a TESC TECEP exam, and 3 credits from a TESC PLA course.
