Hi,

I recently signed up for IC and am trying to see which is the "easiest" or should i say "less stressful " history test i can take. I started studying for the History of Vietnam War and saw that you passed. Was it easy? did you only use IC? or should i get more resources? thanks

Vietnam was the easiest history exam for me. I found Civil War to be the most interesting, but if you are looking for an easy pass, Vietnam is it. If you are even vaguely familiar with Vietnam war terminology (i.e. Pres Johnson, Viet Cong, Nixon), and I mean vaguely familiar, then IC is all you need. I downloaded the audio and listed to it while going through the cards the first time. That takes about 7-8 minutes per set. Then I do each set of cards individually (I disable the blanks in the answers to go through it quicker - this is a matter of preference) until I score 90%. That takes maybe 30 minutes per set. that is all you need to pass this exam. Easy stuff.

There are plenty of threads about what testing methods work best for people, so find something that works for you. Some of these exams you will need to download additional resources, but not this one. If you really feel the need, Sparksnotes has an online section for history. I believe Vietnam has a good overview posted. But for a pass, IC is all you need.
