I have 2 questions...Can I opt to take the older version of this exam at the test center?
Is IC enough to pass the new version of this exam?

hello, I posted this somewhere else but I think it is relevant for your question as well. I took this test on 08/16/08 and saw maybe seven out of the 100 questions that was info I learned on IC. (By the way, I was not given the option of the new or old exam). I got the textbook from Noss and had read a lot of that, but the study guide that DSST provides for this exam is also not accurate. I had questions on Sikhism (not on the guide that was provided), Japanese mythology (same deal) and many more questions about Catholicism than I ever expected to see. There were also many questions on theologians from the 19th and 20th century. I studied for a month straight on this subject, and am unsure whether I passed or not. Best of luck to you. Maybe you will get a different version of the test than I did...

When you take an exam on the computer (not paper) for DSST you are logging in to their site. You can access the same site right now if you register and see the list of exams available. You can see the old version and new version listed. This is the same thing you see when you go take the test. You just can't take the test without a proctor login.
DSST - GetCollegeCredit.com
on the right hand side menu it says: Take a Practice Exam, click that link.
Register, then click on Take Test and you will see the full list of exams...

I looked at the DSST site for the listing for the old and new World Religion
tests, and I only see one. I am looking at the wrong place? I registered, went to the place where you can take the test....only saw one FOr WR.
